Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has hailed 31-year-old forward Alvaro Morata as one of the best players in the world, with the Spain captain coming under more criticism than any other player.
‘First of all, there must be confidence because I think football is heading towards different behaviours and actions. It is very important to know the players, put them in the right positions and give them confidence to get the best possible results,’ De La Fuente said.
A number of Spanish players have impressed at Euro 2024, Promotion ufabet but one player has come under fire – Alvaro Morata. But De la Fuente has come to the player’s defence, insisting the 31-year-old forward and captain will be with the Spanish national team for many years to come.
‘I agree with him. He is a footballer who lacks the love and acceptance of the fans. If he was a player from another country, he would be a legend. We have to prove our players because this Spanish player is one of the best in the world for me.’
