Jake O’Brien has indicated he is ready to leave Lyon, with the Premier League his destination.

French outlet UFABET reports that Everton and Brentford are the two teams monitoring the situation of the Irish defender and are open to negotiating a deal to bring him in.

Late on Wednesday, ยูฟ่าเบท reported that the 23-year-old defender has signalled his readiness to leave Lyon, despite being a key player for the club last season.

Similarly, OL has not ruled out selling players from the team because the media believes that the club is ready to make a profit and find capital to circulate after moving forward to strengthen the senior team in the past.

So it will depend on whether an offer from an English Premier League team will satisfy Lyon, with the report suggesting O’Brien is also waiting to consider personal offers from interested clubs.

In addition to the Toffees and the Bees, Wolves have previously been report to be interest in O’Brien, with other clubs potentially in the running after the player has made his intentions known.

Such praise and recognition have not gone unnoticed by Premier League clubs. UFABET previously revealed that Brentford FC have got in touch with O’Brien. Besides, Everton, Wolverhampton, as well as other Premier League outfits, have reportedly been keeping tabs on the Ireland international centre-back. The outlet adds that there is an acceptance within Lyon that O’Brien will leave for pastures new this summer, despite the fact his Lyon contract is set to expire in 2027.
